Irene Renner Klitzner

Irene Renner Klitzner was born and raised in Miami, Florida. After graduating from the University of Miami with a degree in Elementary Education, she happily took an amazing adventure through motherhood with husband, Steve, raising three wonderful sons. Today her life is full with three daughters-in-law, four grandsons, three granddaughters (and one on the way) and two furry loves. In her quest to turn a creative yearning into a business, Irene started designing and manufacturing a line of children’s clothing in 2005.

Along the way, she met illustrator, Carrie Lou Who, and their imaginations joined hands to create children’s storybooks. Irene is now recognized for wearing violet highlights in her hair, embracing her beautiful grand-daughter‘s name, Brooklyn Violet. As she waits for more new people to grace her life, Irene is loving every moment of being a “Glamma”!

Carrie Lou who grew up as number six in a family of 15 in Racine, Wisconsin and her passion for creating things has led her to the wonderful path she now travels. Always an art enthusiast, she received her BFA from Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design. Carrie has dabbled in many different art forms over the years and feels very blessed to have an ongoing creative outlet in illustrating children’s books. She is also a designer of unique jewelry and accessories and creates original cut-paper design. Currently, Carrie is living her dream of working from home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Her life today is shared with her amazing husband, Rich, and her adorable daughter, Lola.
